About Matt Brady · The full picture

Matt Brady is Australia’s leading Pressure Performance keynote speaker and the creator of Championship Neuro-Biology™. His work answers one question: how do you perform under pressure when it matters most? After 22 years studying why some people rise under pressure while others crumble, his answer is that pressure does not remove skill, it changes access to it, and that access is trainable. He created the Access Gap™ to measure the distance between trained capability and what a person can actually reach under real stakes, and built the Five Faces of Pressure™ (Performance, Outcome, Avoidance, Relational and Growth) and the Championship Cycle™ (Clarity, Certainty, Flow and Momentum). Matt works with CHROs, L&D leaders, C-suite executives and peer group chairs across EO, YPO, Vistage, CEO Institute and AICD. He is the author of The Back 9 and has spoken for organisations including Optus, Red Bull Australia, NAB, St.George, Ricoh and Channel 9 across Australia, Asia and the United States.

Exceptional tenacity to never ever quit

Exceptional tenacity to never ever quit – these words capture the essence of what it takes to achieve success in life. As a keynote speaker, I have had the privilege of working with countless individuals who have demonstrated exceptional tenacity to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles and achieve their dreams. In this blog, I will share my thoughts on what it means to have exceptional tenacity and how you can develop it to achieve your own goals.

Exceptional tenacity means never giving up, no matter what. It means having the courage to face your fears and push through your limitations. It means being willing to work hard and make sacrifices to achieve your dreams. When you have exceptional tenacity, you are able to persevere through difficult times and come out stronger on the other side.

One of the most important things you can do to develop exceptional tenacity is to have a clear sense of purpose. When you have a strong why, you are more likely to stay motivated and committed to your goals, even when the going gets tough. Take some time to reflect on what truly matters to you and what you want to achieve in your life. Write down your goals and keep them in a place where you can see them every day. Use your goals as a source of inspiration and motivation when times get tough.

Another key ingredient in developing exceptional tenacity is to surround yourself with supportive people. Find a community of like-minded individuals who share your values and beliefs. Connect with people who have achieved what you want to achieve and learn from their experiences. Seek out mentors and coaches who can guide you along your journey.

In addition to having a clear sense of purpose and a supportive community, it's also important to stay focused and disciplined in your efforts. Develop a plan of action and stick to it, even when it's hard. Prioritize your time and energy, and make sure you are doing everything you can to move closer to your goals every day. Don't let distractions or setbacks derail you from your path.

Finally, remember that exceptional tenacity is a mindset. It's a choice you make every day to keep going, even when things get hard. Cultivate a mindset of resilience and perseverance, and never give up on yourself or your dreams. With exceptional tenacity, anything is possible, so Ignite your Possible!
